Doug enjoyed family time, camping, cooking, writing poems, drawing, playing sports, watching his Colorado teams, and the mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Montoya; children, Trevor, Nevaeh and two stepchildren; parents; sister, Aubrey (Charles) Smith; niece and nephew, Charles Jr. and Sophera Smith; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Life will be held 11:30 am, April 13, 2018 at Campion Seventh Day Adventist Church, 300 42nd SW, Loveland, CO 80537.
He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens in the Garden of Reflections.
