

Edward Albert Tucker (83) of Fort Collins, CO passed away on Tuesday December 24th, 2024. He was born on July 12th, 1941, in Jersey City, New Jersey to his late parents Albert and Joan Tucker. Ed graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.
Ed married his wife, Gail, in 1964. He then started his career with Eastman Kodak in 1965 (Rochester, NY) and transferred to Kodak Colorado in 1974. Ed retired from Kodak in 1991 after 25+ years of service. For many years Ed and Gail spent the Colorado cold season in Hawaii and in turn spent much of their summers in upstate NY at Sherman Lake. Sherman Lake, where his parents met, was as a very special place to Ed. He prioritized the Lake, so he was able to enjoy it every year of his life. Ed liked to work with his hands building rustic furniture, turning wood, building sheds and other projects. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren having fun, regardless of the activity.
Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail Tucker, sister Nancy (Albany, NY), children David (Cindy) Centennial, CO; Rick (April) Windsor, CO; and Ken (Emily) Tega Cay, SC. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nathan, Ian (Tyler), Samuel, Katharine, Caroline, Elise, Katelyn, and one Great Granddaughter, Tatum Lynn Tucker.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Friday January 3rd, 2025 at Allnutt Drake Chapel in Fort Collins, CO with a reception to immediately follow.
