Elizabeth Jean Butler

Elizabeth J. ""Betty"" Butler, 77, of Fort Collins went to be in the arms of God Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Loveland. She was born on October 16, 1932 in Denver, Colorado to Allie C. Christian and Corinne (Westbrook) Christian. Betty married Carol M. Butler on July 4, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. She had lived in the Loveland and Fort Collins area since 1974 and she and her husband owned Loveland Floral Design. Betty was also a china painter.She is survived by her husband Carol of Fort Collins; her sons; Stephen D. Butler and wife Doris of Fort Morgan, CO, Van C. Butler and wife Cyanna of Harbor, OR, and Herschel M. Butler and wife Pamela of Fort Collins; her daughters; Margaret A. Reinhart and husband Charles of Gas, KS and Beth C. Amen and husband James of Windsor, CO; her sister Boots Waddell and husband Galen of Morrison, CO and 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mildred Lambrecht, and a granddaughter Katherine Amen.A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 4pm to 7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be at 10am Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
