Fritz H. Kitowski

April 26, 1936February 12, 2021

Ferdinand Harold Kitowski (Fritz) was called home to Jesus on February 12, 2021 at the age of 84.

Fritz was born to Carl and Bernice Kitowski on April 26, 1936 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. As a child Fritz was very active with sports and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his parents and his six siblings. After attending St. Norbert College and graduating with a Finance degree, Fritz joined the military as a proud member of the United States Army. He began his career in banking and always enjoyed working with numbers and investments. After a few years in banking, Fritz went on to work in sales with Allis Chalmers Farming Equipment for seventeen years. When his sales days were finished he continued his business career by working as a finance manager for Lextron Animal Health for the remainder of his working years before retiring.

Fritz met his wife of twenty years, Eileen Bartosch in Wisconsin in 1968. They married two years later in 1970, moved to Colorado in 1972 and went on to have two sons Dan and Mike. In addition to being a loving father, Fritz was an avid tennis player and skier. He was a very dedicated Catholic and was involved in many ways with his church. Throughout his entire life Fritz held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Fritz joins his parents Carl and Bernice Kitowski in heaven. He is survived by his children Dan and Mike Kitowski (Melissa Kitowski); his two grandchildren Crew and Adysen Kitowski; his brothers Dennis Kitowski (Mary Kay Kitowski), David Kitowski (Paulette Kitowski), Jerome Kitowski (Lori Kitowski); his sisters Carol Botsford (Bruce Botsford), Elaine Kitowski and Mary Kitowski; and many nieces and nephews.

To Dan and Mike, I remember being neighbors on Teakwood Drive. What fun we had living there! Tennis was an activity for our family too. I remember seeing unfinished lawn work, lawn mower, bags for grass sitting in front of our house because Fritz would call Steve to join him on the tennis courts!
I extend the sympathy of the Hamiltons for the loss of your loved one. He was fun to know!
Sincerely, Sally Hamilton

My sincere condolences to you all. Fritz was a great guy. I cut his hair for many years till we moved to far away. I always looked forward to visiting with him. He gave me some great tips to keep ants away.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

A trumpet is playing in heaven. Uncle Fritz, I will miss our long phone calls about our family history. Your love for activity (tennis and hiking), life, and your faith in God will be remembered throughout my life.

Mike and Dan, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lots of love,
Becky
