George Allee

George Allee of Loveland passed away at his home on July 28, 2013. He was born on June 20, 1946 in Weld County, CO, to Robert C. and Barbara L. (Bell) Allee. He was a native to Colorado and graduated from Thornton High School in 1964. On Aug 26, 1967, he married Marcella J. McIntosh in Boulder. George was self-employed, working in the construction and tile/granite industries for 40+ years. He was a member of the Loveland “J.C.’s” and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon Allee; sister, Anita Whisenhunt; and his son, Aaron Allee. He is survived by his wife Marcy of Loveland; sons, Brian Allee, Jason (Kelly) Allee, and Derrick Allee, all of Loveland; brothers, Robert Jr. Allee of Wyoming and Russ (Terri) Allee of Northglenn, CO; sisters, Ida DiGesualdo of Lafeyette, CO, Judy (Julian) Lopez of Fruita, CO, and Joy (Craig) Thompson of Rochester, MN; 9 grandchildren and his mother-in-law, Jean C. McIntosh of Loveland.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 12:00-1:30 at Resthaven Funeral Home along with services following at 2:00. Memorial contributions can be made to Marcy Allee in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
