It was truly an honor to have had the privilege, over the years , of booking dates for Glenda and Barb to share their Western history message. I am proud to have called them both friends. As many other have shared, our lives were richer for having had them in them!

Wes and I knew Glenda for a great many years. She had a love of fishing, history, archaeology, and life. We will remember her always as one of our favorite characters.

I met Glenda when I moved back to Cody WY in 2001. She was an active member of local history groups, Westerners, and WY Archaeological Society. Glenda always had interesting stories and memories to share. She will be missed.

I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Glenda in 2016 for an independent studies course on oral histories. Glenda fascinated me with stories of her 40+ odd years as a librarian, educator, traveling performer, and historian of all things Calamity Jane. Her attention to detail and passion for this other-worldly, larger than life character only served to highlight her own brilliance. I am so glad to have been touched by Glenda's presence. She has inspired me to continue telling stories and never stop educating yourself and others.

I am devastated to learn of Glenda’s death. She has been one of the guiding lights in our scleroderma support group. Glenda always had such fun stories to tell. My fondest memories are when she came to our Christmas luncheon and dressed in Western gear to honour Calamity Jane. We shall miss her so much. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. Love, Judy Laible Photo is from December 7, 2019.

Glenda was a very active member of our Northern Colorado scleroderma support group. She was an inspiration to so many with this disease. Her humor and wit always made me laugh. She had a very interesting life and I never tired of listening to her share her stories. She will be missed. I feel blessed to have had her in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
