H. Lorraine (Nicknamed “Renee”) Vermilya passed on July 24, 2022. She was born in Fort Collins on June 8, 1929 to Carl and Mary Waag in an area of town known as the “jungle” along with many other Germans from Russia.
Lorraine married Frank J. Vermilya on September 18, 1948. Survivors include: daughter, Yvonne Calvery of Fort Collins and daughter Vicki (David) Chamberlin, of Goodyear Arizona; several grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband Frank; daughters, Jeanette and Lorri; her son Michael; as well as all of her brothers and sisters.
Cremation has been completed by Allnutt Funeral Services in Fort Collins, CO. As per the request of Lorraine, no services will be held. Friends may visit www.allnuttftcollins.com to leave a message of condolence for the family.
