Jimmy was born to John and Jeannette Keith on February 21, 1970 in Loveland, CO. He graduated from Berthoud High School in 1989 and was employed at Foothills Gateway in Ft. Collins where he excelled at various assembly-related assignments in the pre-vocational rehab program.
Jimmy was an avid athlete, participating with Special Olympics in softball (as catcher), basketball, and bowling and even rode horses in Hearts & Horses therapeutic program. He loved the Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, and Avalanche. He enjoyed spending time watching TV, listening to his iPod, and cooking and eating out with his provider, Rob Keihn. Jimmy lived life to the fullest and was always open to sharing his thoughts, observations, and memories with those he encountered each day.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leland and Thelma Keith; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Sarah Carolyn Irminger; and an uncle, Ralph Jr. Irminger. He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Jody Leishman (Reece), Joyce and Janell Keith; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on February 15, 2023 at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Rd, Ft. Collins 80525. Reception to follow. Come wearing your favorite sports team jersey as Jimmy would have liked that. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Ft. Collins, CO will occur at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Colorado Special Olympics or Foothills Gateway.
