

Jeffery S. Sword, 45, died Sunday June 14th 2020 in his home in Fort Collins, CO. Taken from his wife, Staci, and daughter, Madi, far too soon, Jeff passed unexpectedly. Jeff of Marsha Sword of Loveland and Ron Sword of Greeley, spent his time owning and running The Crown Pub of Fort Collins for the past 23 years. Jeff enjoyed spending his time on the river, be it rafting or fishing, in Las Vegas, at the craps table, and on the golf course.
Survived by wife Staci Sword of Fort Collins and daughter Madi Sword of Fort Collins as well as sister Shari Ehlers and husband Barry of Thornton and brother Brian Sword of Loveland.
After moving around a lot in his early years, Jeff grew up in Greeley, CO receiving his education there as well. April 5, 1997 Jeff married Staci in the mountains where they shared a lot of their time. Growing up together since kindergarten Jeff and Staci reconnected after high school in Fort Collins and began their relationship. During their married life, they spent time traveling with their daughter around Mexico and South America.
In 1999 he took over The Crown Pub of Fort Collins with Micheal Navey, after working his way up from hanging the drywall in The Crown Pub to bartender, and eventually to owner. End of February 2020 Jeff and Staci took over ownership of The Crown Pub, and were working through the COVID crisis together.
Jeff will be missed deeply by his family, friends, Crown Pub employees from past and present, and devoted customers.
