Jennifer Mary Crutchfield

Born August 27, 1974, in Winona, Minnesota, she was daughter of Della Sherman and the late Ronald Lunde. She graduated from Dunlap High School in Dunlap, Il in 1992. In 1989, she met her future husband at the neighborhood swimming and tennis club in Peoria, Il. She moved to Colorado in 1995 and married Chris Crutchfield on August 4, 2000.

Jen worked in accounting for a Fort Collins family philanthropy for 20 years. She loved her job and the people she worked with, making many close friends along the way. A lot of her social activities centered around being with her coworkers, and of course her family. Jen loved to travel to places she had never seen. Many worlds she’s come since she first left home. She loved the local and national music scene, making friends with local musicians and attending many concerts. Jen also loved gardening, the outdoors, and camping, listening to the river sing sweet songs to rock her soul. A devoted mother and wife, she loved spending time with her family on all these adventures, with the family dog (Roadie) in tow.

Surviving her are her husband of 25 years, her children, Mason and Rider; mother and stepfather; Randy Sherman, sister, Katie; her step siblings; Yvette, Mark, and Christine, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life for Jen will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 234 Aspen Grove Way, 234 Aspen Grove Way, Severance, CO 80550. Another celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge, 4540 Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mason and Rider’s education fund at 234 Aspen Grove Way, Severance, CO 80550.
