John was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on November 9th, 1969 to his parents Aunita Kamai and John Kamai Sr. During his life he had several different types of jobs, but he enjoyed being a maintenance man the most. When not working, he would spend time outdoors, fishing, and riding his bike. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Cecilia Castillo, Erasmo Castillo, and Kauila Kamai, his brother Jamie Kamai, his uncle Junior Kamai, and many more family members. He is survived by his son Fabian Kamai, his step-children, Joe Borrego, Justine Borrego, and Jolene Duran, his mom Aunita Kamai, his dad, John Kamai Sr., his two sisters, Lisa Plasencio and Amber-Rose Acosta, multiple nieces and nephews, and much more family that will miss him.
