Karen Cyleste Stevens, 87, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2026. Karen is preceded by her parents, Lloyd and Tilla Stevens, and siblings Phyllis Swenson, Garvin Stevens, and Shirley Vohs.
Karen’s life touched communities in North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, California, and Texas. Notably, her hometown of Williston, North Dakota, and Fort Collins, Colorado, where she raised her children, Todd Huddleson and Dana Cox.
An educator, Karen shared her love of literature and learning all her professional life with her students in middle schools, high schools, and adult learning institutions in many of the places she called home.
Karen is survived by her loving children - Todd Huddelson, Dana Cox, and their families, including four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
