Keith Bordewyk went to be with Jesus on August 16, 2022, in Fort Collins, CO. He was surrounded by those he loved. Keith was born on December 19, 1932, on a farm near Harrison, SD, and graduated from Springfield High School (SD). He served in the Army for 2 years in Germany during the Korean War, during which time he mailed an engagement ring to Dee. Keith and Dee were married on December 8, 1954, and lived in Randolph, WI, from 1958-1972. They made their home in Fort Collins in 1972.
Keith loved the Lord and connecting with friends and anyone who had time to talk. He did a wide variety of work over the course of his career. He raised chickens and cattle, was a prison guard, builder and handyman. He retired from Platte River Power Authority in 1991. He built and remodeled homes with all of his children. During retirement, he traveled with Dee and volunteered at Christian camps and on mission trips. He volunteered at Poudre Valley Hospital as a chaplain and later at the blood bank. He served his local church as an elder, deacon, and volunteer. He loved to ride bike, hike, and canoe with his family and built everything from doll cradles to homes.
