Kenneth Weng passed away peacefully in his home in Loveland, CO. December 1, 2018 at the age of 92 Kenneth (Swede) was born in Longmont, CO. March 18, 1926 to John and Anna (Marx) Weng. Swede grew up in Hygiene, CO. on his parents’ farm in a family of ten children. He completed 10 years of education in Lyons, CO. He was drafted into the army and served his tour in Japan and honorably discharged. Upon return from service Swede took up the trucking business until 1976. He built a flourishing wholesale business selling Wix Filters until 1988. Swede continued to keep busy growing roses, mowing lawns and wood working. He always said “I never want to grow old” and in his heart and soul he never did. Swede is survived by his wife of 59 years Jeanne Weng of Loveland, CO., sons Todd (Connie) Weng of Windsor, CO., Scott Weng of San Diego, CA., a granddaughter Ashley (Weng) Jason Storr of Phoenix, AZ., 2 great grandchildren Amelia and Jack. Sisters Ruth Ann (Gordon) Hodgson of Longmont, CO., Arlene (Ralph) Lea of Lodi, CA., Marilyn Achord of Washington ST. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brother in-law Gary (Jan) Moser of Waterloo, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents John (Anna) Weng, Siblings Leon (Myrna) Weng, Hulda (George) Ainslie, Harold (Joyce) Weng, Bernard (Barbra) Weng, Norman Weng, Oliver Weng. Nephew’s Bruce Weng, David Weng. Father and Mother In-law Sylvester (Eva) Moser. Sister in-law Jeanne Moser. A Celebration of Life will be held December 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at Resthaven Funeral Home 8426 S. HWY 287, Fort Collins, CO. 80525 970-667-0202. A reception will immediately follow at the same location. Memorial donations may be made to Pathways Hospice “Never grow old”

With Sympathy to you all at the death of Kenneth, he was in my grade at Lyons thru the 10th grade; 70 or so years ago. I only saw him once since then..a couple of years ago; however, kept in touch with him thru his sister Ruth. The Weng's were well respected,and we still say "that is the Weng house" Sorry I can't attend his
