After years of health struggles, Kevin Hung Rodenbeck, 45, went to heaven Jan. 14, 2019 surrounded by his mom and dad, Ted and Ann Rodenbeck, and his brother and wife, Josh and Kim Cruz-Rodenbeck. He is, also survived by his precious niece and nephews: Lucia, Jude and Teo Jay, and his Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Kevin was born, Dec. 29, 1973, in Vietnam and brought to this country to be Ann and Ted’s first born on April 3, 1974. He lived life to the fullest with many activities, great education at Rocky Mt. High School and Front Range Community College, and community and church experiences. Since he majored in Hospitality Management, he used these skills as a chef or manager at many Ft. Collins’ restaurants and finally Copper Mt. Ski Resort and Steamboat Village.
Kevin’s many friends will remember him for his hospitality, humor and fun. He loved the outdoors especially river rafting, camping, fly fishing, snowboarding or skiing. Life was an adventure for him and for those of us who shared his life.
Kevin was greatly blessed and was a blessing to others. He will be missed!
His Celebration of Life Service will be at Red Feather Lakes Chapel in the Pines (23947 CR 74E, 970-881-3508) on Feb. 2, at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon.
