I was saddened to learn of Kim's passing and send my deepest condolences to Patte and their family. We were neighbors with the Barriers in Pinewood Springs and members with them at Westview Presbyterian and again at the Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies. Kim loved to tell a good story, always with a twinkle in his eye. "Some people come into our lives for a short time and are gone. Other people stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same." Kim was the latter.

We are so shocked and saddened to learn of this great loss. Kim was a special friend through our Estes Park church, and with the two of us (Kim & Larry) growing up in the same small county of eastern Kansas, we enjoyed reminiscing about those "good ole days" and mutual experiences. In one of those long-ago, far-away chapters, we both studied with the same piano teacher. Now we offer our love and condolences to Patte and the family. May God give you a measure of peace and comfort.

We are sad to learn that Kim is no longer with us but know he is now free of pain and playing bridge with old friends in Heaven.

It was a long time ago that we reached the top of Longs Peak without a thought that one day this would be our mountain to view each morning and sunset. The days on Alpine Drive were mostly good! We hope the aspens turn gold again in memory of Kim!
