Lanny Leon Clark

He was born June 30th, 1937 in Silver Lake, Indiana to Charles DeVerl Clark and Mary Marjorie Fisher. He followed his wife and partner of 55 years, Mary Margaret "Tracy" Sommers.

He is survived by their children, Kevin Clark and his wife Laura. Kimberly Bonnell and her children, Justin Mason and son Caleb Mason. Michelle Murphy with husband Ryan Murphy and their children Kyle and Trinity Murphy. Renee Mallory and her daughter Fallon Mallory. His brother and his wife, Thomas and Vickie Clark and family.

Lanny met Tracy at a diner she was working at and on their second date he proposed. Tracy's reaction was to laugh at him and turned him down. The next date he brought her engagement ring. They were married on Nov 25th, 1959 just five weeks after meeting each other. They missed their 55 anniversary by one week.

Lanny loved his family fiercely and had no hesitation to protect them whenever he thought it was needed. He had a restless soul and tried many different careers, mastering one then moving to another. Settling in any one place was never something he chose to do. Instead his family was able to experience many areas of the US, along with an abundance of communities and new people.
