Laura Marie Dorney 87, passed away Sunday August 9, 2020. Born in New Jersey to Laura Marie and Louis Hegge on May 2, 1933. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Laura married James Dorney in 1954. The two remained married and in love for over 48 years. Laura was a beloved mother of two daughters Nancy and Karen. Grandmother to Joshua and James. Great grandmother to Alexis.
She spent her early years working and traveling alongside her husband.
She was an avid and accomplished fisherman. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, and imparting her wisdom to her grandchildren during summer fishing trips and Christmas gatherings.
She is loved and will remain forever, in our hearts and minds.
There is a small family service at 11:30 am on Friday August 14, 2020.
