She was born in Mora, Minnesota on January 21, 1951. After graduating from East High School in Duluth, Minnesota, she studied to be a beautician. She once modeled a wedding dress for Maurices and worked in their beauty salon. Laurie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cross stitch and reading books. She was also a huge Colorado Avalanche fan.
She is survived by her husband Roy, her daughters Nicole and Heather, her son Ryan, her daughter-in-law Shana, and grandchildren Skye, Samuel, and Deven.
Per her wishes, no services will be held.
