Lili Garza, 84 of Fort Collins, Colorado left to her forever home peacefully Friday, November 8, 2019. Services will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Foothills Assembly of God in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Lili was born September 18, 1935 in Sabinal, Texas to the late Chano Martinez and Anita Ramirez-Martinez.

Lili had an adventurous life, she was a cook for a sheep shearing business she and her husband owned in South Dakota. She later moved to Quanah, TX and worked at Hardeman County Hospital as a housekeeper until she retired and started a Home Interior Business. Lili loved decorating her home and creating flower arrangements for her home and family and friends, she also loved to cook and go shopping, but most of all she loved to attend church and was a wonderful godly woman and she loved her Lord. Lili will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lili will be greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents; husband, Frank (Kiko) Garza; her loving son, Danny Ortiz; her brother, Veto Martinez; sisters, Yolanda Ramirez and Antonia Rodriguez; grandson, Robert Bentz; granddaughter, Michelle Gunhammer; great-grandson, Michael Ruiz Jr.; great-granddaughter, Michaila Ruiz; and her son-in-laws, Alfredo Montiel and Bobby Duncan.

She is survived by her sons, Chavel Ortiz, Roy Ortiz, Roberto Ortiz, and Johnny Ortiz; daughters, Olga Montiel, Ramona (Tony) Jalomo, and Margie Duncan; and a sister, Nate González. Lili was blessed with 21 grandkids, 52 great-grandkids, and 15 great-great grandkids.

O, what a joy it was to sit with you , watching “ Rose of Guadalupe”, eating a little bit of cake together, ironing the beautiful clothes you loved to dress up so nicely! I love your Precious daughter, Mona, so much ! What a blessing Tony and all your family was to you ! I’m glad you’re HOME dancing with the angels and singing worship to our Lord ! Save me a seat..
