Linda Ruth Morrison

Linda is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter Shelley (Mike) Maher, son Jeff (Dawn) Dressel both of Westminster, CO, step-daughter Carrie Morrison of Coeur D’ Alene, ID, sister, Gloria Pruitt, brother Robert Meryerholz both of Vista, CA and grandchildren Sophie, Zoe and Zane.

She was born June 20, 1949 in Sterling, Colorado to Glen and Lydia (Luft) Meyerholz. She was a 1967 graduate of Sterling High School. She and Bob were married in 1992 in Ft. Collins. She sold Real Estate in Sterling, upon moving to Ft. Collins sold advertising for city maps and then assisted in their home building construction company.

Her passion was arranging flowers and made many for weddings and special occasions. She loved baking, sewing, decorating, watching the Broncos and shopping with granddaughter Sophie. One of her favorite things was being known as a second mom to many of her children’s friends who fondly gave her the nickname of Mama Perch. Linda and Bob enjoyed each other’s company and spending time together doing yardwork and raising their garden. She was an active and dedicated member of Faith Lutheran Church in Johnstown, Colorado and enjoyed the company of her quilting friends.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ft. Collins, CO, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda’s life. A private family burial will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
