Lois Ann Holland of Fort Collins died on August 22, 2013 at her home. She was born on October 26, 1934 in Kansas City, KS to Merrell and Edith (Ericksen) Andersen. She married Pastor Vern Holland in 1961 in Los Angeles, CA. He preceded her in death in 2005. Lois and Vern lived in California until 1984, when they moved to Fort Collins.
She was an RN for 35+ years until 1985 when they entered into the ministry in Fort Collins. They were active pastors in the Calvary Bible Church from 1985-2005. She was a nature lover. She was an avid dog lover, showing her labs at dog shows. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, and a son, Robert Holland. She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Teresa) Holland of Iowa and David (Joni) Holland of Nebraska; a daughter, Linda (Cliff) Conkey of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Inurnment will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Resthaven Memory Gardens. A reception will follow in the Resthaven Reception Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
