Lynn had a kind and gentle soul; he was a friend to everyone he met. He always had a smile on his face. He had a love of family, friends along with a love for Alan Jackson, his favorite country music artist. I will miss him a lot!

Lynn my heart is broken; I love you and will miss you terribly.  I look forward to the day we hug each other in heaven. You will be standing tall and I will see you whole without the pain you have experienced here on earth. 

Your life was a light in this world; you were truly a man of God. You endeared yourself to everyone you met. Those who knew you couldn’t help but be moved by your sweet smile, your humble, thankful and prayerful demeanor.

Whenever you were faced with a medical decision your response was “I have a few good years left” and off we would go making sure your wishes were followed, proceeding with whatever needed to be done. I am reminded of the TV watch slogan: “takes a licking but keeps on ticking!” That is you in a nutshell, you never gave up, you were strong, determined to live knowing that God still had plans for you, encouraging others at the nursing homes,
rehabilitation centers and hospitals that cared for you. 

I had the privilege of supporting the decisions you made and advocating your wishes when you could not. 

We shared much over the years; good times in Fort Collins riding in the neighborhood around the nursing home enjoying the flower gardens and the Poudre River bike trails and meals at my house enjoying the quiet backyard.

He was such an awesome Uncle, and his positive attitude has always inspired me.  For as long as I can remember, he has had challenges in everyday things, but he never ever let it get him down.  He always had a smile on his face and an encouraging word to say.  I loved that he and Lee Wray stayed as active as the MD allowed them to be, and that they found so many fun hobbies!  From listening to the local emergency scanner channels to going to see different trains that would come through town!  Most of all, I just remember spending time as a family.  The numerous rides, in the awesome van with the lift, to wherever the trio was going that day!  Rest in Peace Dear Uncle Lynn, you will truly be missed!

God chose a day of worship to call Lynn home. It was Sunday, 4/19/2020 when Lynn’s many years of suffering ended. We rejoice that Lynn is at rest and peace with others that have gone before him. His loving and dedicated mother, Maxine Jensen passed away from Melanoma and then his lifelong companion and brother, LeeWray Jensen passed away six months later.
There is truly rejoicing in heaven. There are no tears in heaven.

Lynn enjoyed daily rides with his brother when the weather permitted. I can recall many stories before and after Lynn became wheelchair bound. One day Lynn and I rode our bikes to Horsetooth Resevoir, we laughed and enjoyed our time together. As the years passed and many new stories developed, Lynn was always excited about seeing the trains. Lynn liked to hear the trains, watch them chug through town, and even could describe what type of train and model of the engine that was pulling the load as it rumbled down the track. There were also accounts of ride details of things encountered and seen on his many wheelchair trips. Lynn would be gone all day sometimes along with LeeWray There were stories of rodents, snakes, and other wildlife. Sadly, several years after the passing of
LeeWray, Lynn was slowed down due his condition. Day by day, Lynn slowly gave way to being in bed most of the time. Over the past several years, Lynn has lingered closer and closer to the day of his release from suffering. Lynn is remembered for his positive and accepted purpose in life. He always had a smile and a story to share.
