Mandy was born on a beautiful fall day and decided to not quite make it to the delivery room. She was ready for the world to come and meet her. She started dancing at the age of almost 4. She loved tap dancing, ballet, and jazz, and got to do many performances on stage. She was a Girl Scout and loved doing elementary school track. When her family all wanted to live in the Colorado mountains, she participated in many school sports from elementary school through high school. She excelled in diving and track, winning many awards including a few state records in track that she has held ever since.
Mandy loved being in the high school band as a percussionist. She also had her mind set on getting her own horse and being part of the western feel of Estes Park. She became a Rooftop Rodeo Princess and worked her way up to being a Rodeo Attendant, Lady-In-Waiting, and finally fulfilled her dream of being a Rooftop Rodeo Queen in 1998.
Mandy loved working with children after her graduation from high school and worked on getting her degree in Early Childhood Education.
She met and married John Quinby on September 15, 2001 at her parent's ranch. They had their first child Colby and Skyler came along a couple of years later. Several years passed and she and John welcomed their little girl Payton. They settled in their home in Fort Collins and had a wonderful life raising their children.
Mandy is survived by her husband, John, her children Colby, Skyler, and Payton, her mother Jane Ball, sisters Michelle (David) and Melissa (Ron), several nieces, cousins, and family members, her in-laws, Robert Quinby (Patty), Virginia Quinby, her sister-in-law Jennifer, plus her many friends, neighbors, and co-workers. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, as well as her beautiful smile and the love she had for everyone.
