Margaret Ann Ross

Meg was born on November 27, 1929 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Joseph and Hazel Andrews. She was raised on an Iowa farm and raised her family on a farm in her early married life. She and her family moved to Wisconsin where she earned her nursing degree. She worked at Madison General Hospital and Central Colony of Wisconsin all while raising her three daughters. She moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada for a brief time and then to Fort Collins, Colorado where she has resided for 51 years. She retired from nursing at Poudre Valley Hospital.

We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the UCHealth Cancer Center, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Northern Colorado Rehab for the amazing care given to mom during her illness.

Meg is survived by her three daughters, Betsy (Dick) Hoff, Cathy (Don) Jacobson, and Jan (Fred) Masterson; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her former husband Don Ross, daughter Ellen, her parents and five siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Allnutt Funeral Service Drake Chapel in Fort Collins, CO, followed by a luncheon reception. Monetary donations can be made to the family and will be given to their favorite charities.

Mom loved her family fiercely and will be greatly missed and wonderfully remembered.
