Maria Elena Hernandez

Maria Elena Hernandez was born on October 8, 1944, to Theodoso Villarreal and Paulina Leza. Elena was an amazing woman in every way and anyone that met her knew that. She loved everyone and they felt it! Her contagious smile and cute little laugh could light up a room. She loved to dance, sing, be with family, but most of all she loved being a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother.

During her life here on earth she gave birth to eight children Joe, Sylvia, Pauline, Michalle, Jannet, Ruben, Abran and Gilbert. She also had 34 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren who she loved and adored with every part of herself.

If anyone knew Elena, they knew she loved cooking and having everyone get together to enjoy her delicious food oh and of course listening to her Spanish music. Elena had a good sense of fashion, she loved cowboy boots, the color pink, anything native, coloring, beautiful jewelry and always enjoyed her pedicure spa days. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and is going to be dearly missed.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Theodoso Villarreal and Paulina Leza; her son, Ruben Hernandez; daughter, Jannet Marie Hernandez and other family members. Surviving members of her family are her six children Sylvia, Joe, Michalle, Pauline, Abran and Gilbert as well as her grandkids, and great grandkids.
