She was born on February 13, 1933 to Ed and Helen Martin in Nebraska and later moved to Fort Collins with the family where she attended and graduated from Fort Collins High School.
On August 30, 1953 she married Kenneth Pastor and spent 59 years together until his passing in 2012.
Marilyn was a homemaker and a kind, generous, thoughtful person who made sure her family was supported and taken care of. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always remembered their birthdays and anniversaries.
Marilyn was an avid golfer and played in women’s leagues and on weekends with her husband and friends. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, and attending CSU football games.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Mark (Carolyn) Pastor of Fort Collins, Colorado, daughter Kay (Dick) Mottin of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren, Garrett (Rachel) Pastor of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Andrew Pastor; great-grandchildren, Helena and Marilyn Pastor.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 24. 2025 at Allnutt Drake Chapel.
