Born August 4, 1938, in Mora, New Mexico, he was the son of Beatrice (Sisneros) and Frank Cordova and brother to Claudia, Nick, Tina, Gino, Mary, and Marie.
He leaves behind his loving wife Patricia Cordova; his children Frank Cordova, Derick Cordova, and Jessica Cordova; his grandchildren Antonio Cordova, Wesley Cordova, Micaela Adams, Adriana Ortiz, Benjamin Cordova, and Josh Cordova; and his great-grandson, Antonio Cordova Jr. His son Marty Cordova Jr. waits for him in Heaven.
Marty was a good man and very hardworking. An arborist by trade, he worked as a tree removal specialist for many years for Nelson Tree Service. When he was 17 years old, Marty enlisted with the US Navy and proudly served his country. He was honorably discharged on his 21st birthday. Marty enjoyed working and cars and watching football (Go Broncos!) and he loved watching WWE wrestling. As a lifelong Catholic, he was a deeply spiritual man. His faith in God was steadfast and true.
Marty and Patricia Padilla were wed in Denver, Colorado on September 3, 1971. At the time of his passing, they had celebrated more than 54 years of marriage. They raised their children in a loving home centered around family and God. Marty was a loving husband and a supportive father who was proud of his children, and his grandchildren. He is dearly missed.
Marty's family appreciates the outpouring of love and support they have received during this time. May God bless you all.
