She was born to Elsie and Edward Flynn on November 7, 1942.
Mary Ellen graduated from John Marshall High School, Rochester, NY in 1960.
She enjoyed traveling and watching sports.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl H. Hartman; son, Todd S. Pearce of Johnstown, CO; step daughter, Diane Smith of Fort Collins, CO; sister, Sandy Mattle of Rochester, NY and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Larimer County Humane Society in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
