Mary F. Vargas

Mary was born on February 13, 1942 in Roy, New Mexico to Leandro Aguilar and Anna (Ulibarri) Aguilar. She attended schools in New Mexico until her family moved to Colorado in the mid 1950’s. She graduated in 1960 from Johnstown High School.

Mary enjoyed her career as an elementary school secretary for 26 years at Thompson School District. She worked at Berthoud, Ivy Stockwell and BF Kitchen Elementary until her retirement in 1992.

Mary is survived by 2 sons Francisco Aguilar (Jose Refuerzo) of San Jose CA Timothy Aguilar (Danette) of Loveland and 1 daughter Yvonne Clark (Michael) of Fort Collins, 6 grandchildren Desirray (Jacob) Bonsall, Kaela (Jason) Braunsroth, Cortney Clark, Tonya Clark, Travis Clark and Derek Aguilar, 1 great granddaughter Jaelyn and a great grandson due in December.

She is preceded in death by her husband Moses Vargas, her parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Good Samaritan Fort Collins Campus for their kindness and care of our Mother and Grandmother. She spent many happy months there surrounded by kindness and love.
