My sincere condolences to the family of Maureen (Mo) Hoyer. I will miss Mo, her great sense of humor, and her sharing about herself, her life, and her challenges. I will always remember Mo sitting in the corner of the room, in the basement of a church, knitting to her hearts delight! I would look forward to seeing what color her hair would be after either she or I had been gone awhile. Mo, I know that you didn't like to be hugged while you were here with us, yet I'm giving you a HUGE air hug (and a kiss) meant to last until we meet again. I know that you are smiling down upon us. I miss you Mo.... yet you have the found the peace that you always longed for.

With all of my love,

Maureen was such a lovely woman. When I met her we quickly enjoyed one another’s company and had some wonderful conversations about all sorts of things. She was old enough to be my mother in fact she was born a year before my mother and I enjoyed so much listening to her stories of her earlier years.!
Our friendship was brief, but I learned at how exceptionally well read she was. She went by the nickname of Mo. She was such a voracious reader and continued learning by taking an online course at a major university. She also practiced Buddhism and often spoke of her Buddhist friend who was so important to her. She had a son but unfortunately he had passed away some years ago.
Mo, I will miss you and our conversations. I will miss your laugh and quirky sense of humor! I love you Mo and look forward to meeting you again❤️❤️❤️
Peace to you and blessings. Forever and ever.
Your friend,
