Norma Josephine McCoy

Norma was born May 7th, 1921 in Morrill, Nebraska to Charles and Efie Becker, one of nine siblings. She grew up in Morrill, met and married Daniel Steven McCoy in 1938, and had four children together, Judy, Steve, Mike and Rod.

She and Steve had many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. They were all her precious ones and they all loved her very much.

Norma was mainly a home maker but did work different jobs in her 94 years. Norma resided in Oakbrook II in Fort Collins for 38 years and had many friends there.

After Norma’s rebirth in Christ she was very concerned for the salvation of others and shared her faith freely. She was known by her friends as the “Butterfly Lady”. Those who know her will understand this.

Norma is survived by her two sons, Steve (Marilyn) of Greeley, Rod (Lori) of Bayard, NE and one sister, Jean (Harold) Webb of Morrill, NE and all the grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, husband Steve, Son Mike, daughter Judy, infant daughter, Loretta and grandson Justin.

Visitation will be Friday, December 18th, 8:30 am, Funeral Service at 10:00 am, interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
