Pat loved to sing. Her alto voice and keen ear for harmony led her to different choirs including acapella choir in high school, Clintones (an all female barbershop group), and a member of the choir at Church of the Open Door in Clinton,Iowa and Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. For several years she participated in the yearly production of Handel’s Messiah . You would often hear her singing to songs on the radio or just humming along as she did other things.
She enjoyed doing things with her hands. She painted ceramics, created decorative wreaths and made jewelry. So many of her pieces were given away to friends and family. For many years she enjoyed adult coloring books. She used gel pens, colored pencils and crayons. At times she used all three mediums in one picture to get just the right look she was going for.
Patricia will be loved by her family as well as all the individuals that crossed her path. Her love of Jesus was in all she did. Her kindness toward people was shown in her smile, support and grace. Her memorial service will be September 16 at 1 pm at Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
