She was born October 17th, 1946 in Cheyenne, WY to Clarence Devlin and Lola Louise Wilkins. Along with her brother and sister, Pat moved to Loveland, CO to live with their grandma, Evelyn Jolly, who raised them. She attended Loveland schools and worked at the Woolworths in downtown Loveland. At the age of 19, she began a career at Hewlett Packard.
On June 16th, 1966, Pat married James L. Turner Sr. They had celebrated 54 years of marriage before the time of his passing on January 21, 2021. They had four children: Dorsey Wetzel and husband Dennis of Seneca, MO, Patty Turner of Granby, MO, Maudie Castaneda and husband Rick of Elkland, MO, and James Turner Jr. of Loveland. She was a very proud grandma to 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pat continued to work at Hewlett Packard, even after they became Agilent Technology, until it was time for her to retire. Following retirement, she spent the rest of her life with her family. She and James traveled many times to Oklahoma and Missouri to be with family there.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, and may nieces and nephews. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, her sister Barbara Wohlman and her brother Charles Devlin, and her grandson, Calvin Johnston, along with other family members on James’ side.
Mom, you will be missed tremendously. Thank you for your everlasting love.
Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado. A Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Pat's Funeral Service will occur Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM, after which Pat will be laid to eternal rest with her beloved James. A Reception will follow.
