He lived a life rooted in faith, integrity, and service.
Patrick was the devoted husband of Caroline for 60 years, living together in Fort Collins as a beautiful example of unconditional love, loyalty, and commitment. He was a man who stayed true to his word and steadfast in his faith.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, gift for storytelling, and generous heart. Patrick found joy in golf, tennis, volunteering at the Outreach of First Christian Church, and most of all, cheering on his children and grandchildren at their many games, performances, and milestones. In retirement, Pat and Caroline greatly enjoyed traveling together, taking many cruises and memorable road trips.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Caroline; his children, Carrie Volpe (Ben), Jody McCluskey, and Michael McCluskey (Michelle); his grandchildren, Megan, Thomas, and Anna Volpe, Avery Reid, and Cooper McCluskey; and his sister, Floy Whitmer.
Though our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the years we shared with him. His love, guidance, and humor will remain forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International (https://gideons.org/) or Hospice Pathways (https://pathways-care.org/).
