

He was born on August 18, 1934 in Dover, New Hampshire to the late Paul R. Josephson, Sr. and Ellen D. P. Turnblom Josephson.
He attended the University of New Hampshire, obtaining his BS in Chemical Engineering, and Iowa State University, obtaining his MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering as well. While at ISU, he met Gail M. Walker. They were married on August 16, 1959 in Ames, Iowa.
Paul and Gail moved to Rochester, New York in 1961, where he started his lifelong career with the Eastman Kodak Company. They moved to Fort Collins in 1971 where Paul continued to work for Eastman Kodak, completing a career that spanned over 30 years.
Paul and his wife, Gail, loved to travel and visited places including the Holy Land, Egypt, Sweden, Russia, Hawaii, and Washington D.C. as well as a majority of the continental United States. They often traveled with various other members of their families.
Paul was an avid skier and hiker, both of which he continued to enjoy until his death.
He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins.
He also was a member of the Mason’s, Tau Beta Pi, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Mu Epsilon. Paul is preceded in death by his wife Gail and parents Paul and Ellen.
He is survived by daughters Kimberly (Ken) Starr and Kari Josephson, son Kevin Josephson, granddaughters Chelsea and Julie Starr, sisters Hope Mercer and Carolyn Fluke as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins.
