Paula Vickers

Born on August 10, 1945, in St. Helena, CA, Paula spent her life being a guiding light for everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a woman of deep faith and boundless generosity. Whether she was doing jigsaw puzzles, watching her movies, playing bingo, playing the slots, fishing, camping, watching her grand-dogs, or just being with her family, she did everything with intention, patience, and love.

She was a devoted mother, wife, nana, and friend. There is nothing that she wouldn't do for those she loved. She put everyone's needs above her own, even during her own illnesses. She fought against breast cancer since being diagnosed in 2022, beat it, and was diagnosed with another form of cancer. Through it all... she showed up.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband, Roy "Skip" Vickers; her children, Kristi Gachne (Bruce), and Derek Magnusson; her grandchildren, Alyssa Gachne, Brandon Gachne (Bre), and Derek Hardie; great-grandchildren, Brady and Blair Gachne, and Payton and Riotte Hardie; grand-dogs, Blake, Luna, Leo, and Minnie; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Magnusson, and grand-dog, Sawyer; her parents, Otto and Lucetta Bohn; and her siblings, Sandra Bernard, Frank Bohn, Arlene Bauder, Ada Galusha, and Mike Bohn.

A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM, whereafter she will be placed to rest with her son, Kevin. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Kristi and Bruce Gachne following her service.

She will be greatly missed, and her memory will forever live on through her family. We love you. "Bless Your Heart"
