Pelagia "Peggy" Winter made the journey to her final home with God on July 7, 2020. She was 96 years of age and lived a life full of faith and service being known as "The Angel Lady" by many. Born in Kansas to Alex Dinkel and Mary Bach, the first of 12 children. Peggy moved to Colorado with her family when she was 14. She was married to Walter Winter for 59 years and farmed in Severance, Windsor and Fort Collins. She was a wonderful farm wife, Mother, daughter, sister, friend and a great cook. Peggy was active in the Moose Lodge at Greeley. She was a very good card player, loved for her quick wit and fun laugh as well as one of the best polka dancers in Northern Colorado!
She is pre deceased by her husband Walter, sons Walter Junior and Larry, and Grandson Bryan Winter, 2 Brothers, one stillborn Baby Boy Dinkel and 3 Sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Winter of Cheyenne, WY and Shirley Pedersen (Larry) of Fort Collins, 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, 4 Brothers and one Sister. Peggy will be missed by many and never forgotten.
