Perla Sodusta Bechtold

Perla enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. She was a dedicated nurse, friend, and mother and always lived her life to the fullest. Perla strived to be a beacon in her community whether it was through her relationships or through organizing charitable works. She recently completed a library project, facilitating the building of a library and providing books to the children of her hometown in the Philippines. She has also hosted fundraisers for the UCH Cancer Center.

With her smile and big heart, Perla brought joy to most people that met her. She has been an inspiration in her struggle against cancer with her unceasing will to live and to love. Her presence on this earth will be truly missed.

Perla will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Garden in Fort Collins. A funeral service will be held on March 21st at 11:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Prayer services and viewings will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home March 18th through March 20th at 6 pm.
