Ralph Eugene “Gene” Sharp, 86, of Laporte, Colorado passed away December 13, 2015. He was born November 21, 1929 in Kingman, AZ, to Eddie S. and Alta H. (Roe) Sharp. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1948 and was honorably discharged in January 1952. Gene and Lois were married February 3rd, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; and daughter, Edith Lowell.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters; Carol Tysdal and Evelyn Tatro, 9 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday the 16th from 5-7 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday the 17th at 1 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home followed by a reception at the Resthaven Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
