

Raymond G. Brandt, a great man, was led hand in hand by our Lord to the Heavens above the 24th day of March 2010. He was born on April 3, 1942 in Norristown, PA, to Raymond F. and Sarah A. (McCarrick) Brandt . He graduated from St. Mathew's High School in 1960 and attended Villanova College in PA. He married Marie Eileen Barnes on September 14, 1963 in Lafayette Hill, PA. He was a former resident of Lancaster County, PA and worked for Bell of PA. He worked for Qwest for 34 years as a system analyst and most recently worked at King Soopers in the deli for 4 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved stockcar racing, boxing, dogs (especially labs), Irish music, history, genealogy, and was a firearm historian. His family was very important to him and he was lucky to have found his best friend and soul mate in his wife. He was the patriarch of his family and instilled core family values.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerard Anthony Brandt. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Brandt of Loveland; a son, Joe (Marie) Brandt of Loveland; daughters, Deb Vodjansky (Calvin Dodge) of Denver and Karolyn (Michael) Brandt-Ringus of Loveland; a sister, Joanne (Jim) McGonagle; a sister-in-law, Carol Smits; five grandsons, Joseph R. Vodjansky, Scott T. Bean, Benjamin M. Ringus, Christopher B. Ringus, and Kaelen J. Brandt; his best-friend E.K. Bostick, and a special aunt, Pat McCarrick. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 31, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
