Renee Louise Dinkel, born April 06, 1967 passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 to our heavenly father. She was a loving mother to Danielle, Brittany, Mikaleen, and Michael Fisher and future son in law Kalvin Knott; a daughter to Bob and Beth Dinkel; a sister to Sandy and Keith Mikels, Bobby Dinkel, Tina and Richard Watson and Paula and Jim Griffis; an ex-wife to Mike Fisher; fiancé to Ernie Kohn (deceased), and friend to many.
Renee was a bubbly, fun, loving and caring person. She lit up any room with her smile. Her kind eyes always let you know how much she loved you. She would look at you and you would know everything was going to be okay. Her laugh was contagious, she could get you laughing to the point of tears and you wouldn’t even know why. All of Uncle Bobby’s friends aptly called her “Sponge Head” due to her ditzy nature. She would ask silly questions like the time she called her mom to ask if half a cup and half a cup equaled one cup. Grandma’s response was “Yes Renee, it does.”
When she hugged you, you knew you were loved. Her hugs were the best hugs a person could receive. They were so tight and warm; she almost squeezed the air right out of you.
Renee would do anything for anyone, no matter what. It was in her nature to be overly caring and considerate. All the neighborhood kids called her “Mama” as if they were one of her own. They knew they could always come to her for anything and she would do her best to help in any way possible. If you needed her you knew to call because she would drop what she was doing just to be there.
Renee recently found new love in Ernie Kohn. She loved Ernie’s family and even though Ernie and Renee were not yet married, she still saw his kids, Josh, Aubernee, Breanna, and Dale Kohn as part of her family. Ernie and Renee did everything together. One of their favorite things to do was riding the Harley Davidson.
She loved camping, boating, country music- especially her “husband” George Strait, crazy dance parties with her kids while cooking dinner, and above all being a mom. Motherhood was in her nature. Renee’s kids were her world and she would put them before anyone. She loved her kids more than words will ever explain and will continue to watch over and protect them throughout their lives. She will forever be our guardian angel. She will be missed but NEVER forgotten.
We love you Mama.
In lieu of flowers please make donations for Renee’s four children to the Renee Louise Dinkel Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank. If you have any difficulties the fund can be found in the names of Danielle Fisher and Kalvin Knott.
