Bob was born in Rockford, Illinois on December 23rd, 1959 raised by his mother, Mary Lake and Herman Schulte. Bob grew up on the farm in the country and was a farmer in his early years. More recently, Bob worked as a Contractor for Inquisit, LLC at the USDA.
On June 22nd, 1996, Bob married the love of his life, Judy Seiz in Springfield, Illinois. Bob moved the family to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2004 after welcoming two children into the world; daughter, Willow, and son, Alex.
Bob's upbringing on the family farms in Easton, Illinois and Fancy Prairie, Illinois ignited his passion for automobiles and the outdoors. He was a member of the Toyota Landcruiser Club and the Mountaineers, unifying his love and respect for the outdoors with his fascination with 4-wheel drive vehicles. You would be hard-pressed to find a photo of Bob not smiling with his sunglasses enjoying the natural world that he loved in his FJ-40 Landcruiser. Bob was a loving husband and father, he was a son, brother, uncle, and a friend to many. Bob was loved and he will be missed.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his father, Herman. He leaves behind his wife, Judy Paul, and his children, Willow and Alex, all of Fort Collins Colorado. He is also survived by his sister, Jayne Carney of Kirkwood, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Springfield, Illinois at a later date. In the meantime, Bob's family will hold a private scattering of his ashes in the mountains he loved. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to Pathways Hospice. Visit www.allnuttftcollins.com to share a memory of Bob and to leave a message for his family.
