Roy is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Kahler, and his three children Donald James, Michelle Goldware, and Kelly Kahler. He had six grandchildren, Rebekkah and Rowan James, Megan and Benjamin Goldware, and Nicholas and Alexander Kahler.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 2, 2020 at 10 a.m. at The Bridge Church, located at 833 South Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80521.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, in care of Allnutt Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
