IN THE CARE OF

Allnutt Funeral Service – Drake Road Chapel

Rudolf Otto Dick passed in peace Easter morning, April 4, 2021 in Fort Collins, Colorado at the age of 90. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 15, 1930.

Rudi, a long time Chicago resident, will be remembered as a hard-working union printer and his passion and love of music and travel. He was a proud member of the German American Singers of Chicago, both the Rheinischer Gesang und Karnivals Vereine and once former President of the Nord-Amerikanischer Sangerbund. Summers were spent at his Lake Owen home with family and dear friends. Many will remember Rudi having provided musical entertainment via violin, laughter, and singing at any gathering large or small.

Rudolf was the loving husband of Rose of 49 years and dear companion of Dorothy Kerekes of Fort Collins, CO for the past 20 years. He was the loving father of Trudi (Dave) Coutts, Theodore (Patti) Dickson, Toni (William) Kaucher, and Terri (Preston) Hatfield. Rudolf is the proud grandfather of Carolyn, Stephanie (Alex), Kristen, Katrina (Chuck), Kelli (Charlie), Emily (Johnny), Tyler (Meghan), Conner, Laura (Jay) and Brian. Rudi left still another generation as great-grandfather of eleven; Aiden, Ethan, Max, Sam, Parker, Kennedy, Rosie, Jack, Preston, Porter and Owen.
