

Ruth Ann was born on May 26, 1960, in Wray, Colorado, to Maurice and Pauline Guinn. She grew up in a close-knit family with her brothers Larry, Gary, Raymond, Bruce, sisters Laura Riley, and Lisa Hopkins. Ruth Ann graduated from high school in 1978 and soon after married Danny Brenner. They made their home in Burlington, Colorado, and had two children, Lacey and Landon.
Following her years in Burlington, Ruth Ann moved to Denver, where she began a career in real estate. Her desire to help others led her to pursue a new path in nursing. In 1994, she enrolled in the nursing program at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and graduated in 2000 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Ruth worked as a nurse for the remainder of her life, dedicating herself to the care and comfort of others.
Ruth Ann will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering strength. She touched many lives through her nursing career, her friendships, and her family. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Lacey; her son, Landon; her brothers Larry Guinn, Gary Guinn, Raymond Guinn (Nancy), Bruce Guinn; sisters Laura Riley, Lisa Hopkins (Rusty), several nieces, nephews along with many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Pauline Guinn; her niece, Amy Riley; her nephews, Terry Guinn, Lincoln Scott Guinn, and Logan Guinn; and her great-nephew, Chance Flot.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Ruth's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Pathways Hospice or to a local nursing scholarship fund.
