Aunt Thelma was the best! She was like another mom to us. I can remember being only 3 or 4 when we lived in Steamboat and I always asked my mom to "box me up and send me to Aunt Thelma!" She was my favorite. Thelma made sure everyone was remembered and had fun and never left her house hungry.  Growing up she took us to Elitches every summer, always slipped us extra money for shopping, and had a bottomless cookie jar.  Aunt Thelma was always there for us no matter what. And she was the original WebMD! Sick? Hurt? Ask Aunt Thelma, she'll know what to do. We sure will miss her. RIP Aunt Thelma - love ya!

Grandma took so much joy I doing things for her grandkids. Holidays, birthdays, baby showers...you name it, she would celebrate it with you and for you. Her house was always full of people she loved and loved her. It will never be the same without her smile and laughter.  I will miss hearing her say "Amanda honey"...Love you Grandma 

I don't know where to even begin to tell you about my favorite memories of Grandma Homen, there are so many.  I remember Easter all those years and how much effort she put into making clues for me to find my easter basket. Every time she took me on errands with her, she always generously gave me ten dollars to spend as I wished. Thinking back, one of my fondest memories of grandma Homen was when she caught me multiple times stealing cookies from her moo cow cookie jar. The loud mooing sound it made always gave me away. She would playfully ask "does your mama know you're eating cookies? Well don't tell your mama." I love and miss you grandma  and wish I had gotten more time with you, but I know you'll be in good hands in heaven.

Thelma welcomed us to the family with open arms.  Lydia would always refer to her as Grandma.  Every Birthday, Every Christmas, there were cards she never forgot. At family gatherings there was always so much love and lots of food and her jam stock  never ran out.... She will be missed.  May your new wings be ready and waiting for you. Love Anna and Lydia 
 

Thelma loved to care for people, especially with birthday parties and family get togethers in the summer.  So many people have loved her too. There are many fond memories and I hope this service will remind you of those times.

I knew her as grandma. How do you sum it up with just a memory or two. Time is so fleeting, she was one of those that you thought would be here forever. Her door and her heart was always open. The effort she put into making sure that her grandkids had some of the best holidays and just best times in general was beyond compare. That tradition carried onto the great grandchildren as well. We love you grandma. Thank you.

Your mom was good friends with my sister Margarita Muniz who passed away in November.  She always talked about Thelma and Norm wich she loved dearly. 
So sorry for your loss and know that she is in God's hands and enjoying life with those that have gone before her.

Thelma was a beautiful soul.  I knew her many years ago and knew her to have a gentle spirit and a kind heart.  Rest in peace Thelma, well done! 

Through marriage, I gained a grandma who saw me and loved me well. She made me feel like I was her favorite, and I know that she made so many others feel this way too. My most fond memory was the trip to Seattle, just the two of us to honor the life of one of Grandpa‘s brothers. Minus a treadmill incident, we laughed until our stomachs hurt, shared our hearts, and even some secrets. She was my best friend two generations ahead. I would tell her this frequently, and I’m sure going to miss her.

Thelma was first a daughter, then a sister, a wife, an aunt, a mother, a mother-in-law, a grandmother, and a great grandmother ; she was someone special to all of us  I couldn’t have asked for a better aunt. She was  always there for you!  Her life was full and meaningful . I can only hope to follow in her footsteps. May God rest her soul.
