Veronica "Ronnie" Jean Eaton, 83, of Laporte, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026 at her home, surrounded by family and listening to her favorite music. She was born on June 6, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts to parents Faith "Grace" Anniere (Fountain) and Roland Anthony Beaudet.
Ronnie worked for over 25 years at the Marriott in Fort Collins as a customer service coordinator, ensuring hotel guests received the best possible experience. She was passionate about nature and animals, and had a green thumb when it came to flowers. Ronnie's hobbies included drawing, painting, and ceramics. She also loved traveling; some of her favorite places include her hometown of Boston; California, Florida, and Texas where her children settled; and the mountain valley in her backyard of Estes Park.
Ronnie is survived by her children, Christine Gammara (of California); Kenneth Eaton (of Florida); Renee Eaton (of Texas); and Heather Eaton, of Colorado. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Valerie Morgan (of California); Corey Eaton (of Texas); Tyler Rooney (of Texas); and Jean-Michael Gammara (of California); as well as 5 great-grandchildren, and 4 sisters.
Always cheerful and thoughtful, her infectious smile warmed many hearts. Ronnie loved the mountains, but her heart lies on the oceanside.
No formal services are planned at this time. Her family asks that instead of gathering in a building, you carry her memory with you into the world she so dearly loved. Please remember Ronnie in the quiet, everyday moments where her spirit felt most at home: in the first blooming flowers of spring, the golden light of a coastal sunrise, or the deepening colors of a mountain sunset. It is in these moments of natural beauty that her life will be most truly celebrated, and we encourage you to share a photo of your own favorite sunset or flower in Ronnie's online guestbook here, as a lasting tribute to her memory.
