Virginia June Aguirre

Virginia June Aguirre, 84, left with her angels to Heaven on January 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born a twin in Fort Collins, CO to Alex and Virginia Gallegos on April 30, 1938. Gina married Anthony Aguirre in 1958 and together they had three children. Gina was the heart of our family. She worked at Teledyne Technologies for 33 years. She worked hard and raised her children on her own. She was a very warm and nurturing mom and grandmother. Gina loved listening to music. Her favorite was Elvis as well as Mexican music. You could often find her with family at the El Burrito restaurant enjoying her favorite food and a margarita. She was good at getting a smile and a laugh out of anyone who spent time with her. She will be missed more than words can express. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1965. Two of her three children also preceded her in death, Douglas Aguirre and Audrey Alton. She is survived by daughter, Renee Haith; grandchildren, Sherri Reel, Russ Reel and Shane Alton; great-grandchildren, Dusk Johnson and Jazmyne Aguirre; brother, Jerry; and nieces, Rose Escobedo and Debbie Montano. An 11 AM Celebration of Life will be held at the Allnutt Funeral Drake Chapel located at 650 W Drake Road in Fort Collins on February 7th with a reception to follow at 11:30 AM. Inurnment will be at Roselawn Cemetery located at 2718 E Mulberry Street also in Fort Collins at 1 PM also on February 7th. Donations may be made to Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 300 W.
