Her family takes comfort in knowing that while this life has come to an end, her Life Eternal is just beginning. Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.
Born in Grant Township, Ringgold County in Iowa on January 10, 1934, Virginia was the daughter of Ocie Inez Peters and Cleveland Arthur Baker. She grew up in the midwest with two brothers and three sisters. She was raised to know that God is good and that faith and family come before all else.
Virginia was a caregiver by nature. She worked hard as a CNA to support her family. She had a big heart and an amazing spirit. She was the proud mother of one daughter, Deborah, who she loved more than life itself. Virginia was delighted to become a grandmother and loved her grands, great-grands, and great-greats dearly, cherishing each of the children that came into her life. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals. Above all, Virginia loved her family and counted every moment spent with them as a blessing.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Mireles and son-in-law Julio; her grandson Robert Mireles and his wife Pam; and granddaughter Rebecca Enoch and her husband Curtis; her great-grandchildren Joseph, Alicia, Angelica, Julio, Bailey, and Addison; and by her great-great-grandkids Stellah, Valencia, Joy, Charlotte, and Matteo; as well has her faithful furry companion, her dog Pogo.
Services will be held for Virginia on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens. For those who wish to say a final farewell, a Viewing will take place at 10am followed by Virigina’s Graveside Service at 11am.
